Folk Art Stockinet Black Antique Style Cloth dolls by The Little Hamptons

A new cute trio! Sam, Martha & Jane are listed in my Etsy shop. They are all 14"tall cotton stockinet dolls, stuffed with mostly cotton filling and styled on late 1800s cloth dolls. I have embroidered & sculpted their features and also aged them slightly. The clothing is made from an assortment of antique and new but aged cotton fabrics. Have now been sold.

Beecher Type Black Cloth Art Doll, antique Primitive Folk Art Style by The Little Hamptons

BETTY a 20"cloth doll. Available in my Etsy shop. Click on this link to my Etsy shop:

Betty is styled on late 1800s Beecher type dolls. She is a cloth doll, stuffed with cotton and aged with paint, coffee, cinnamon and tea. She has a slight coffee and cinnamon smell which is quite pleasant. However don't be put off by this. This will fade within a few weeks. I have needle sculpted her face. Betty even has itty bitty toes.
She is 20" tall and dressed in a pretty outfit that I have machine and hand sewn from some antique fabrics and newer but aged cotton fabric. I hand dyed the dress giving it a lovely faded look, just perfect for this very antique looking doll. The lace is antique. I made the underwear, petticoat, dress, apron and head wrap. So a very well dressed young girl. All the clothing is removable and mostly has hand sewn button loop fastenings.
Her hair is a short mohair fabric that I have coloured to look like a faded black. Her eyes are antique shoe buttons.

Betty is not suitable for young children, as she is a doll for the adult collector.

She is signed and dated on the back of her shoulder plate and she has signed and dated swing tag.

The following doll Bea, is one I made last week but she has since found a home.

Meet My 2 Newest Girls Adelaide and Esme.
Addie has since been sold but Esme is in my Etsy shop.

A front view of Esme wearing her pretty outfit that I have made for her from antique fabric & lace.

Close up of her carefully painted face, giving her an antique look.

Side view, note the sculpted ringlets

Back view showing the ringlets all around the sides and back. Her dress fastens with antique glass buttons and her apron ties at the back.

The following pictures are of Adelaide who has already been sold.

Addie is sitting with one of my Izannah Walker reproductions dolls made from the Patience mold.

Antique style jointed mohair aged artist bears by Hampton Bears.

 In my Etsy shop

Clown bears that I have given that special Hampton Bears aged look. For sale in my etsy shop. I've made them both a ruffle and a hat. Look just like early bears from the first half of the 20th century.
Lots of pictures to follow.

Black reproduction of Patience an antique Izannah Walker doll. By The Little Hamptons.

A new Patience is finished and dressed. Sorry but she is already sold, but I'll be making another soon. She is about 18" tall.  I made her an outfit consisting of a second skin, chemise, bloomers, half slip, skirt, blouse and hat. The skirt is made from a gorgeous blue antique fabric. The underwear and shirt are new cotton voile that I have hand dyed to look vintage.  Lots of pictures to follow.
