Another of my hand made dolls, made from the "Eliza" mold taken from the original antique Izannah Walker doll.
These composition head/shoulder, with cloth bodies reproductions show the detail of the original antiques, including the scuffs, the general wear and tear of the originals. I carefully paint and give these dolls a nice antique look. The bodies are made from cotton fabric and stuffed as the originals were, with cotton stuffing.
She is 19 1/2"tall and wearing a very pretty outfit that I made from vintage and antique cotton fabric and clothing. She has a very pretty dress made from late 1800s cotton fabric. Her chemise is made from new cotton voile but the neckline is edged with antique trim. Her bloomers , petticoat and pinny are all made from 1800s undergarments. The pintucks and lace edging on her bloomers and petticoat are all original. They have some slight wear but this adds to the antique look. They are lace trimmed and have button fastenings.
I have painted her lace up boots directly onto her feet.
She is signed and dated on the back of her shoulder plate just under her second skin and she has signed and dated swing tags.
If you have any questions or would like to purchase her you can contact me via email, using the link on the right hand side of this page
