Izannah Walker Reproduction doll of the antique "Eliza" by The Little Hamptons

My latest doll is made from the "Eliza" mold taken from an antique Izannah Walker doll of the mid 1800s.
These composition head reproductions show the detail of the original antiques. I carefully paint and give these dolls a nice old look, taking a lot of care to capture the look of an antique Izzy. The bodies are made from cotton fabric and stuffed as the originals were, with cotton stuffing. The arms and legs are painted with an aged look.
She is 19" tall and wearing a very pretty outfit that I made from antique cotton fabric and clothing. She has a dress, chemise, bloomers and petticoat which all have button fastenings.
I have also made her a bonnet in keeping with the era. I made this bonnet short at the back to show of her nice curls.
I have painted her lace up boots directly onto her feet.

She is signed and dated on the back of her shoulder plate just under her second skin and she has signed and dated swing tags.
You can contact me using the email link on the right hand side of this page if you have any questions. She is also listed in my online etsy shop.
