The Little Hamptons "Grace". Izannah Walker Style Doll.

I've been so busy making the reproduction Izzy dolls, that I haven't made one of my Izannah Walker style dolls for a while now, but I had a request for one of my hand sculpted dolls, Grace. I took a mold of my original sculpt and made a fabric covered paper clay head, giving her the fabric applied ears like original Izannah Walker dolls. She has quite a demure, delicate look about her.
Here are some pictures of her in her pretty dress and bonnet. You can purchase the bonnet pattern from my Etsy shop.

BLACK IZANNAH WALKER REPRODUCTION DOLL BY THE LITTLE HAMPTONS NOW FINISHED AND FOR SALE

FOR SALE:
Reproduction of "Patience". Now for sale.

"Patience" an 18" Izannah Walker doll, is made from the mold taken from the original antique Izannah Walker doll, from the 1800s, named Patience. She has a composition head and shoulders. I carefully paint and give these dolls a nice antique look. The bodies are made from cotton fabric and stuffed as the originals were, with cotton stuffing. I have also painted and aged the arms and legs, to look just like their antique sisters.

These reproductions show the detail of the original antiques.

She's 18" tall and dressed in a pretty outfit that I have machine and hand sewn from antique cotton clothing and fabric. All the clothing is removable and has hand sewn button/buttonhole or loop fastenings.

She has a slightly aged look. I have given her a short curly hair style.

She has a second skin, chemise, undies and petticoat and apron.
I have painted her lace up boots directly onto her feet.

She is signed and dated on the back of her shoulder plate and she has signed and dated swing tags.

Izannah Walker reproduction of black "Patience" doll finished by The Little Hamptons.

My newest "Patience" doll  is keeping her sister "Eliza" company in their favourite chair. I have made her a nice yellow apron with frill edge and a pocket to wear over her red dress using fabrics from the 1800s. I'll add some more pictures in a day or so.  I am also working on her twin sister which will be finished in a weeks time. You can email me using the link on the right hand side of the page if you are interested in purchasing her or you have any questions.
