This is a very comprehensive tutorial for Little Olive, a 9" paperclay
over cloth doll. There are 39 pages of instructions with lots of
pictures plus the pattern.
I show how to sew the doll, methodically
place the paperclay over the top and sculpt the curls and features. She
has the look of a fairly primitive, simply carved antique. I also show
how to paint her with an aged worn look. There is also the pattern for
her dress and bloomers. Her arms are made from leather and joined onto
the body with little nails.
She is based on an antique wooden
doll and I show how to achieve the look of wood. She not difficult to
make, but I'd recommend that you have some sewing skills.
is presented in PDF format and contains instructions, pattern, material
list necessary for making this doll. for sale in my Etsy shop.
