The Little Hamptons, Alice Doll. Antique Style doll.

Alice is the third doll that I have created  from a mould of a doll that I hand sculpted specifically to reproduce as an Alice doll. Alice dolls of the 1800s were so called due to the hairbands as worn by the Alice in Wonderland character, Alice. She is almost 20" tall with a cloth body and limbs and a composition shoulder head that I have painted. I have also painted her arms. She has pretty blue eyes and subtle cheek and lip colouring.

She's dressed in a pretty outfit that I have machine and hand sewn from vintage cotton fabric. The clothing is removable and has hand sewn button/buttonhole or loop fastenings.I have given her a slightly aged look to look like an antique doll.

She has a second skin, petticoat and a dress.
I have painted her shoes directly onto her feet and added some lace trim.

Alice is signed and dated on the back of her shoulder plate and she has signed and dated swing tags.

Alice is for sale in my Etsy shop. Or you can contact me using the email link on the right side of this page if you have any questions about my dolls or would like to buy her directly from me.
