SOLD

A new cute trio! Sam, Martha & Jane are listed in my Etsy shop. They are all 14"tall cotton stockinet dolls, stuffed with mostly cotton filling and styled on late 1800s cloth dolls. I have embroidered & sculpted their features and also aged them slightly. The clothing is made from an assortment of antique and new but aged cotton fabrics. Have now been sold.

Beecher Type Black Cloth Art Doll, antique Primitive Folk Art Style by The Little Hamptons

SOLD
BETTY a 20"cloth doll. Available in my Etsy shop. Click on this link to my Etsy shop:

Betty is styled on late 1800s Beecher type dolls. She is a cloth doll, stuffed with cotton and aged with paint, coffee, cinnamon and tea. She has a slight coffee and cinnamon smell which is quite pleasant. However don't be put off by this. This will fade within a few weeks. I have needle sculpted her face. Betty even has itty bitty toes.
She is 20" tall and dressed in a pretty outfit that I have machine and hand sewn from some antique fabrics and newer but aged cotton fabric. I hand dyed the dress giving it a lovely faded look, just perfect for this very antique looking doll. The lace is antique. I made the underwear, petticoat, dress, apron and head wrap. So a very well dressed young girl. All the clothing is removable and mostly has hand sewn button loop fastenings.
Her hair is a short mohair fabric that I have coloured to look like a faded black. Her eyes are antique shoe buttons.

Betty is not suitable for young children, as she is a doll for the adult collector.

She is signed and dated on the back of her shoulder plate and she has signed and dated swing tag.
